Crossroads Original Designs has generously earmarked a portion of the proceeds from their 2024 Spring Open House pre-sale event for local nonprofits who provided emergency response and support to the Bucyrus community following the April 17 tornado. United Way will distribute the funds on Crossroads’ behalf, splitting the donation between the Bucyrus Salvation Army and the American Red Cross of Central & Southern Ohio’s East Central Ohio Chapter. Both organizations went straight to work in the aftermath of the storm, with the Red Cross setting up a reception center to assist residents and Salvation Army assembling and distributing emergency food boxes.

We are grateful for all of the area organizations who rallied to help in the storm recovery, from clearing debris, collecting and distributing cleaning supplies,  donating time and money, and more. We are lucky to live and work in such a caring community.
