United Way of North Central Ohio (UWNCO) is pleased to welcome Pam Morral to their team as resource development coordinator. Leslie Schneider, director of resource development for UWNCO noted, “We are excited to welcome Pam to our organization. She brings great energy, passion and people skills to our team. We recognize and value the importance of a familiar face representing United Way in Wyandot – her connections with residents and businesses will play a vital role in building and maintaining relationships with our donors.”

In her role as resource development coordinator, Morral will focus on managing workplace campaigns with local businesses. United Way currently funds nine programs through area organizations that improve the health, education, and financial stability of individuals and families in Wyandot County. UWCNO Executive Director Amber Wertman stated, “Our United Way was fortunate to find someone with Pam’s experience and connection to the local community. We are looking forward to a great new year with Pam on board.”

Morral, a native of Marion, has resided in Upper Sandusky with her husband Mike for over forty years. She has a diverse career background that includes time spent in HR at GTE in Marion, as a substitute at Upper Sandusky Exempted Village Schools, and most notably, as the owner of Pamela’s Unique Boutique for 18 years before closing in 2013. Morral also served on the board of directors for the Wyandot County Chamber of Commerce for 8 years. After working as the showroom manager for the Columbus Marketplace in Dublin, Morral said, “I’m looking forward to getting back in the community. I’ve missed being a part of the community and being active where I live.”

She is actively involved with Trinity Church of Christ’s Christian Education (C.E.) Board and has served on the church’s consistory. Morral emphasized that helping the community is extremely important to her: “It’s part of my personality to want to give back, and United Way is a perfect fit for that.”

Morral has a rich history with United Way. In addition to volunteering for United Way campaigns in Upper Sandusky and Marion, her husband Mike is a past president of United Way in Wyandot and brother-in-law Steve Washburn currently serves on the Wyandot Advisory Council. Morral’s son Zach and wife Lindsey also participated in this year’s Celebrity Bartender campaign kick-off.

Kurt Kimmel, chair of the Advisory Council, stated, “We are extremely excited to have Pam join our United Way team. Pam is a very friendly face in Wyandot County and her familiarity with local businesses, organizations, and individuals will help us further the mission of United Way throughout the county.”

Morral enjoys spending time with family, including sons Josh and Zach, daughters-in-law Michelle and Lindsey, grandchildren Marshall and Lennox, and granddog Kratos.
