Mission & Action Teams
The mission of the Marion Transportation Coalition is to facilitate transportation solutions for all Marion County residents.
The Coalition leadership team has formed three Action Teams working to fulfill this mission.
GROWTH ACTION TEAM
Growth Action Team
To secure funding from diverse sources that are reliable and sustainable.
EDUCATION & OUTREACH ACTION TEAM
Education & Outreach Action Team
To educate community stakeholders about local transportation barriers and barriers faced by residents who are in ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) population.
ADVOCACY ACTION TEAM
Advocacy Action Team
To work with political subdivisions to change regulations, laws, systems, and policies to favor the development or redevelopment of walking, biking, transit, and mixed-use communities.
