Marion Matters, Inc. is hosting a Poverty Simulation & Bridges Out of Poverty Overview on Friday, February 21 at the Marion Naz at 233 W Church Street in Marion.

The Poverty Simulation is facilitated by the Ohio Association of Foodbanks and is designed to help participants understand the harsh realities of poverty and to talk about how communities can address the problem collectively. See more about the simulation here.

The schedule for the day is:

• 10:00am – 1:00pm – Poverty Simulation (Ohio Association of Foodbanks)
• 1:00pm – 1:45pm -Break for lunch
• 2:00pm – 5:00pm -Bridges Out of Poverty Overview (Marion Matters Inc. Heidi Jones)
